About Natasha Das
After building a trailblazing career on Wall Street as one of the few women on the trading desk, a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where her sharp instincts set her apart.
Natasha Das chose to pursue a long-held dream: creating an evening and occasion wear collection that filled a white space only she could see.
Born in India, Natasha spent her early childhood in Australia before moving to Connecticut at age eight, where she grew up surrounded by both the traditions of her heritage and the influences of her new home.
This layered upbringing shaped her nuanced worldview. Now based between Connecticut and New York, Natasha is fluent in dualities - sharp yet romantic, witty yet grounded, feminine yet strong.
This perspective runs through every Danarys design.
Each piece feels less like a seasonal release and more like a chapter in an unfolding body of work a magical short story building upon the last. Inspired since childhood by cultural exploration and the storytelling that travel evokes.
Natasha begins each collection with a narrative. She conjures a fictional world to shape the season’s mood, silhouette, and voice punctuated with embroidery rich in symbolism and meaning. Rooted in a tapestry of cultures, she is fluent in both French and Hindi Natasha’s work explores the harmony that arises from distinction.
Strength emerges when worlds, and women, converge with purpose, revealing a unique beauty born of contrast.
Her lifelong love of the sea also infuses her perspective: its vastness and depth mirror the dualities she embraces through her designs - strength and softness, permanence and change, tradition and reinvention.
With Danarys, Natasha offers more than clothing - she offers a world of story, craft, and emotion.
Each collection is both an exploration in modern couture and an invitation: to step into garments that carry history, celebrate duality, and embody timeless beauty.
For the women who wear them, Danarys is not simply fashion, but a lived experience of strength, elegance, and magic.
